Berdasarkan poster yang ditampilkan, filem Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse semestinya akan membawakan ciri animasi unik yang memukau peminat seperti mana filem terdahulu, di samping membawakan barisan watak-watak baharu Spider-Man dan Spider-People dari pelbagai multiverse dan penerbitan yang pernah dihasilkan oleh Marvel. Antara watak yang telah disahkan tampil dalam filem Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ini adalah seperti Spider-Punk, Scarlet Spider, Web-Slinger, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Woman, Spider Cat dan Spider-Man dari siri animasi The Spectacular Spider-Man kegemaran ramai yang bersiaran antara tahun 2008-2009.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.
