Stranger Things adalah berlatarkan tahun 1980-an di sebuah pekan fictional di Hawkins, Indiana. Apabila seorang kanak-kanak lelaki tiba-tiba hilang tanpa kesan, penduduk pekan mendapati terdapat msteri menyelubungi yang melibatkan eksperimen rahsia, kuasa mistik yang menakutkan, dan seorang kanak-kanak perempuan yang berperwatakan aneh.
